So if you read the posts of the other #Shakleebloggers who are part of the current blogger program you’ll know this is the “last month” of the program. However, it’s not the last month for me on the program. I took two months off earlier in the summer, and so I am lucky enough to keep on truckin’ for another two months. And I need it.
This morning I realized what motivates me, and that’s seeing other people succeed. I am very hard on myself, many times when it comes to things like weight loss I think that I can’t do it. I can’t push myself, I can’t make it happen. I get down about it and completely fall off the wagon. And that’s where I am, well it’s where I’ve been. But this morning I talked to my friend Lauren (who isn’t doing the shaklee program, but has been on her own journey this year!) and there it was. Seeing her results were like a kick in the pants for me.
I can read motivational quotes all day, I can talk about all the science behind these programs, I can know in my brain that healthy weight loss is the best way to live and a healthy lifestyle leads to a healthy future and family. I can know that. But for some reason what I really need is to see someone else have success. I need to see someone else with the body I want, and know that they got there by staying focused and not allowing themselves to be distracted for too long.
I know you all want to know the nitty gritty. Since this is technically the sixth month of the blogger out reach program I figured I’d give you what you want, although I hope you know I still have two months to go. And I hope that the progress I can show you at the end of MY sixth month is so much further than these photos today!
(I am actually up two pounds from where my minimum has been on the program. My program minimum has been 23 pounds).
Inches lost: 16.5
So I have two and a half months to go. I am insanely motivated today, and any time I need a kick in the pants I’ll just look through before and afters of people who have had insane success and reached their goals! We all have different things that motivate us, and it seems that this is it for me! I can’t wait to update y’all on how that’s going and to finish out the next 2.5 months strong!
Goal: To lose 15ish more pounds.
This is a sponsored post as part of the Shaklee Corporation blogger program. I have received free products, online support, and incentives for participating, my opinions are my own.
People following the weight-loss portion of the Shaklee 180™ Program can expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week.
